The Body Shop Drops of Youth | Youth Cream | Product Review | Skin Care Essentials

Hello friends. Welcome to another much requested Skincare Review post on TicTalkToe.

By now, am sure my blog readers have identified my eternal love for The Body Shop products. However, I buy them only when they are on Flat 50% discount from their website.

So I have been using the Youth Cream from their Drops of Youth range for quite a long time now. Infact, I have already finished my jar, and I am waiting for The Body Shop to bring it over on discount, so that I can re-purchase this amazing product. You can check out my post on “My Empties” for January’2019  on Instagram HERE

I try and take good care of skin daily, and moisturising is a very integral part of skin care, as I have dry skin that shows signs of aging pretty soon! I chanced upon The Body Shop Drops of Youth “Youth Cream” on their website and decided to give it a try. And I was definitely impressed with the product.

The cream comes in a glass jar with a sturdy black lid. These jars are heavy and thus make it difficult to carry for travel. However, they are reusable, and I really like my skincare products in a glass jar than flimsy plastic ones. The tub contains 50ml of product, and a little goes a long way when it comes to this cream.

The cream has a whipped cream like texture that soaked into my skin very easily. No signs of greasiness, no residue. I used to religiously apply it in a small amount everyday after my bath, before stepping out for work. While I am not sure if it reversed my aging process or so, but the cream felt very light on my skin, yet kept it moisturised. It is an ideal cream if you are living in a humid city, like Kolkata.

The website describes their Drops of Youth range as

Tackle the first signs of ageing with our exclusive Drops of Youth™ range. Make sure you’re tackling wrinkles and fine lines head-on. Give your skin a helping hand before the signs of ageing become clearly visible. Our Nutriganics™ Drops of Youth™ concentrate helps to leave skin looking smoother, fresher and healthier with instant moisturisation. While our Drops of Youth™ Eye concentrate, enriched with Edelweiss plant stem cells, focuses on the delicate eye area to instantly refresh the eye contour.

This velvety, air-whipped youth enhancing cream, infused with a blend of three plant stem cells, addresses the first signs of ageing. With a refreshing, lightweight texture, skin is left feeling smoother, more supple and refined, with a youthful-looking bounce. Use daily as part of your Drops of Youth™ skincare routine.

Usage : Use every morning and evening. Apply a pea-sized amount onto fingertips and smooth onto face and neck and allow to absorb.

  • Being non-greasy and light
  • My pores look tightened after applying this
  • It has a mild fragrance that is not at all powering

Thumbs Down For:
