Think of a multipurpose product that you can put into your bag and forget about your makeup woes!

Well, today’s review and swatch post is about one such product that you will never regret splurging on. Yes, I am talking about Colorbar’s latest launch by Jacqueline Fernandez, their “Glitter Me All” range.

Colorbar Glitter Me All range is described on their website as

A mesmerising top plate decoration concept featuring a blend of glitter and sequins in liquid, solid and sensual method for maximum impact. A combination of metallic, iridescent and holographic effects catch the light as the particles float in palettes and shine.

I tried hard resisting my temptation of splurging over yet another Lipstick, but their offers kept tempting me till I saw Nykaa giving out a free Glitter Brush Set on all purchases above Rs.900/- from their Glitter Me All range. I promptly lost my sleep over it and placed an order for their Luminizer and Lipstick Duo.

Let us discuss about the packaging first. It would be unfair to review this product without stressing about how beautiful the packaging is! The silver glitter cardboard box holds the product, which has a Lipstick on one end and a highlighter on the other. The packaging is sturdy and attractive! The lipstick bullet had little droplets which gave it a regal look.

The Colorbar Glitter Me All Fairytale Luminizer & Lipstick Duo has four different shades to choose from. I got the shade 003 – Glam & Glow from this collection. The website describes this product as :

We bring you ultimate innovation with our multi-tasking luminizer and lipstick duo. Our creamy formula delivers a velvet-soft matte glitter on your lips and light-reflecting perfection on your cheeks. A single stroke is all it takes to add a touch of glam to your lids, lips, and cheeks.

No parabens. No D5. No mineral-oils. Only soft radiance.

The Glitter Me All collection boasts of Lipsticks, Lip Palettes, Highlighters, Eye Shadows, Lip Gloss and Disco Powder.

How to Use : Apply highlighter along the topside of your cheekbones, the length of your nose, on your chin, on the cupid’s bow, and along the brow bone. 

Apply lipstick straight from the bullet or with our Fabulips lip brush. Thicken the color along the cupid’s bow and the lower lip for a natural pucker.

The Lipstick!

A beautiful reddish maroon that is highly pigmented and settles into a comfortable matte formula on your lips. It reminded me of Mac Diva (another favourite of mine). I cannot emphasize on how gorgeous it looked on me. One swipe, and the colour payoff was remarkable. It lasted for a good five hours on me and faded evenly. I also survived oily meals.

The Highlighter!

I have never used stick highlighters before, so I was a little skeptical before trying it out. I used it on the high points of my face, cheekbones, bridge of the nose and on my cupid’s bow. It blended effortlessly and gave a very subtle sheen on my face. It can also be used as a cream base eyeshadow, which I did.

Benefits :

Drawbacks :

At Rs.1200/- the product might seem expensive on the face, but since it has several utilities, it totally lives upto its price.
