Kat Von D Lolita Lip Duo | Everlasting Liquid Lipstick | Mini Liquid Lipsticks | Product Review | Swatches | Dusky Skin Swatch
Think of MAC Cosmetics, and the first thing that comes to your mind is Ruby Woo. Similarly, think of Kat Von D and the first thing that comes to your mind is their cult-favourite Lolita, which is almost out of stock everywhere in USA. Fortunately I could manage to grab the Kat Von D Lolita Lip Duo from Sephora during their Black Friday Sale.
Lolita is one of the best selling shades of Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick, and hence I had always wanted to try it after it had launched in 2015. However, I cringed at the idea of spending $20 for a lipgloss! Thanx to their Lolita Lip Duo Holiday Set, I could try two of them at $12 only.
Lolita is described on their website as a Chestnut Rose
Lolita II is described on their website as a Terra Cotta Nude
Both of them have a beautiful matte finish, with a very comfortable creamy formula. The lip colour does not feel drying on the lips, and sets in a few seconds, leaving it completely matte. It comes in a simple see-through tube with a doe-foot applicator which makes application easy and precise. The wand makes it very easy to apply the lip colour, reaching out to the inner corners of your lips.
The quantity of 3ml is small, but not tiny. You can easily throw them into your bag, and reach out to them as a daily-wear shade. Personally I loved Lolita more than Lolita II. However, I did not find them flattering on my skintone (I am MAC NC 45).
