An impulsive me had picked up the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in the shade “HD Addiction” on her trip to Thailand. It was as cheap as Rs.400/- INR back there. This is one of the rarest lip colours, that was so comfortable on the lips, yet budget friendly! Recently, the Myntra Beauty Edit Sale lured me to pick another shade called “HD Infatuation”.

Packaging: The lip color comes in a flat tube packaging with a wand applicator. The frosted tube packaging will hint you the shade. The labels contain the other details such as ingredients, manufacturing date, date of expiry, price, etc. The wand makes it easy to reach out to the corners of your lips.

Texture : The texture is creamy and it sets into a soft plush velvet matte after it has been applied. It does not dry out to be completely matte, which is what I like. It does not accentuate the dry lines of your lips, and I love its smooth formula. It lasts for around four to five hours, leaving a tint behind, which is again a win win point. One single swipe gives good coverage. It is intensely pigmented. The formula has a light fragrance, which fades away soon.

HD Infatuation : This deep brown color is such a gorgeous colour. It’s perfect for evening wear, and is totally a fall-winter shade.

• The pigmentation
• The lovely fragrance
• The sleek packaging
• Easy to apply applicator

Thumbs Down For:

• Being pricey
• Some of the shades are not easily available in India anymore
