Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you all for your positive comments on my previous two blog posts on home management. Your comments gave me enough confidence to venture out apart from Makeup, Skincare, Cooking, Travel and DIY. This post is dedicated to some simple and affordable ideas for your home, which can easily be implemented with very little effort.
Your home deserves a makeover as much as you do. We decided to give our four year old sofa a makeover by changing its upholstery at a very nominal price. We visited Home Centre, Rajarhat, Kolkata (Next to Axis Mall) which is one of our favorite places to shop for our abode and got cushion covers along with a matching dining table cover (to be used as a sofa seat cover) for this makeover. Have purposefully kept the sofa seat cover plain, so that the entire look does not feel clumsy.
The window curtains were purchased from Myntra, and am so glad they looked in sync with the entire look. We completed the look by placing Sheer Curtains (from Amazon) that act as a partition between our living room and kitchen. A wooden tray that I recently purchased from Pepperfry was placed on the centre table.
