COLORBAR SINFUL MATTE LIPCOLOR | Review, Swatches | Naked | Provoke | Exposed | Whip

Think of a bold, beautiful colour that comes in an attractive luxurious packaging, goes on to glide smoothly on your lips, and what more, even survives meals? Am I asking for too much from a brand that is easily available in the Indian market? I guess, yes.

Presenting one such product that totally bowled me over. When it first released, it caught the attention of many beauty bloggers, but the only thing that bogged me down was its high price! Rs.1200/- for a lipstick. Nevertheless, I splurged on them as soon as Purplle hosted a sale. And here I am, with their review and swatches.

I’ve swatched the shades Naked, Provoke, Exposed, and Whip from their range of 24 amazing shades.

Description on their Website

Matte that is so rich, so silky, and so bold – it’s practically sinful. Every stroke gives you a powerful blast of long-lasting color and a luxurious matte finish. Infused with sea fennel wax, Sinful Matte leaves an ultra-soft touch on your lips. Matte really shouldn’t be this addictive.

No parabens. No artificial fragrances. No talc. Only love.

Packaging

The packaging is something that really grabs your attention! It comes in a flip open cardboard box with a velvet finish. The name of the shade is inscribed at the bottom along with the number. The box also hosts the ingredients and other details at the back. The lipstick in itself has got a luxurious packaging. It comes in a magnetic closure with a metallic finish on the body. Something you would love flaunting! As soon as you twist it up, all you see is a gorgeous bullet loaded with a powder matte finish. One swipe and the colour shows up.

Formula

The formula is something I would love! It glides on super smoothly and survives for a pretty long time. Six to seven hours on an average. It is much much better than MAC Powder Kiss lipsticks that I have tried. It settles down to a very comfortable finish. Many bloggers have also compared its formula to Pat McGrath Labs MatteTrance Lipsticks. It does transfer a little, so I would not label it as Transfer Proof. However, the formula and pigmentation will surely take care of its other cons, including the steep pricing.
